Vintage Mid-Century Modern 14k Solid Yellow Gold Ring. Band forms into a kind of Modernist version of a clamshell to hold a large amethyst solitaire high off the plane of the finger. Circa 1960s. Marked 14k for 14k purity. Ring size is about an 8.5. Weighs 10.7 grams. Amethyst measures 17mm diameter x 9mm depth. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Juju’s Vintage Collection.
