A fine and large 19th century oil painting on canvas after Bartolomé Esteban Murrillo's (Spanish, 1617-1682) "Beggar Boys Playing Dice". This impressive artwork depicts two young boys playing dice while a third boy faces the views eating a piece of fruit as his dog watches expectantly. Unsigned. The original work by Murillo was painted in 1675 and currently resides at the Alte Pinakothek Museum in Munich, Germany. Framed in gessoed wood frame. Measures 53.5in x 42in framed and 47.5in x 36in image only. Condition: scratches with missing paint to leftmost boy in the upper left chest area, a couple of old repairs are visible on the back side but not detectable on the image side. * Etsy does not have a local pick up option so we use the $999.99 shipping price as a placeholder.
