Finely rendered terra cotta figure of a nude woman lying down resting her head on her arm and in a light sleep or contemplative mood. Great detail and proportion. Signed on back of arm “M. Lidov”. Mildred Lidov is a long-time Chicago area sculptor working in clay, bronze and other materials. This lies on a flat surface. Measures about 16in x 11in x 5.5in depth. Condition: Tight firing crack on arm just above shoulder, completely structurally sound just a minor cosmetic thing.
