Patrick Nagel (American, 1945-1984) "Commemorative #9", 1986, serigraph, published by Mirage Editions. Signed in screen lower right corner. Provenance: ex. Billy Hork Gallery, Chicago. This is a fine art screen print not a cheap offset poster. Professionally framed in black metal frame, float mounted on solid color ground with black mat, under glass. Measures 45in height x 34in width frame and 35in x 24in sheet size. Condition: Dust build up under glass at edges, otherwise excellent. Nagel created a series of fifteen posters that he titled "commemorative" posters numbered NC01 to NC15 over a period of four years. The work is very representational of the look of the late 80's.
