Milton Douthat (American, 1905 - 1973) Circa 1930’s watercolor portrait on paper depicting a nude woman. Signed lower right. Framed in wood frame matted under glass. Measures 20in x 18in framed and 7.5in x 5.75in image only. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Douthat Studied at the Kansas City Art Institute, as well under John Sloan at the Art Students League of New York during the 1920’s, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. He moved to Chicago in 1930 with his artist wife Rifka “Betty Angel” Angelowitz.
