Eugene Laurent (French, 1832-1898) Circa late 19th century patinated bronze bust of a young lady in Empire period dress with ribbon-tied cap and a gilt bronze floral corsage on her chest. Made of solid bronze. Mounted on black marble stepped plinth. Signed in the bronze ''E. Laurent'', further inscribed ''Susse Fes Edrs'', denoting Susse Brothers Foundry Paris. Measures 13in height with marble plinth, 9in bronze only. 5in width x 4in depth. Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
