Pair Antique KPM Kister Scheibe-Alsbach Meissen Porcelain Angel Cherub Spill Vases

Beautiful pair of antique porcelain vases in the form of little girl and boy angels holding a pair of cornucopia vases and standing a white ball on a plinth. Made between 1887 - 1905 by Scheibe Alsbach factory. Marked with Scheibe Alsbach factory (blue KPM and swords underglaze marks and impressed 779 / 10). From 1890 the factory started to make new groups like female dancers, dancing couples and centrepieces and during 1894 the factory also introduced figures in old Meissen styles, like historical figures and groups. Measures about 8.25in height each. Condition: Boy has been restored around the neck and one of the feet on the base looks like a replacement, there are several chips to the flowers of both pieces that are noticeable only under scrutiny.
