After Theodore Riviere (French 1857-1912) “Le Savietier” (The Cobbler), white metal with bronze patination. Depicts a happy cobbler seated on a stool and holding a hammer, the title plaque inscribed Par. Th. Riviere/ Medaille au Salon. Also marked with medallion inset into base “Fabrique Francaise, Made in France, Paris”. Holes in back of base to convert into a table lamp. Circa 1910. Measures: Height 23 1/2 inches by approx 13in width x 12in depth. Condition: old white paint residue on bottom right base, minor scuff to nose.
