Irina Lorin mural circa 1950’s. Fabulous large scale ceramic tile mural depicting a Japanese Geisha with a collection of hats cascading from her hands. Approximately 20 individual tiles puzzled together and mounted on a rosewood panel. Signed lower right tile “Irina”. Before starting her Los Angeles ceramic studio Russian born Irina work with Edith Head and Madame Karinska accessorizing major motion pictures and later move to work with Karinska costuming the New York Ballet.
