Rafael Mahdavi (b. 1946, Mexico), “Velasquez and Roman Memoirs”, watercolor collage on paper. 1972. Old paper label on back for Richard Feigen gallery in Chicago. Feigen sponsored an exhibition for Mahdavi in 1972 and this is presumably one of the pieces from that show. Signed lower left. Matted and framed under glass. Measures 27.5in x 20.5in overall and 22.5in x 16.5in image only. Condition: excellent condition
