Vintage 1950’s French Occupational Poster Shoemakers Cobblers

$295.00

Shipping to United States: $185.00

Double-sided charming vintage French occupational poster depicting a shoemaker and young apprentice at work in their worksop. Circa 1950’s. Marked “Tableau no. 19 Le Cordonnier” at top left and “La Maisons des Instituteurs, Saint Germain en Laye” and “Imprimeries Oberthur Rennes-Paris” bottom right corner. The other side features a bustling beauty salon barber shop with several beauticians and barbers at work on a nattily dressed clientele. *Note you can only see one side at time if you’d prefer the barber shop side you can flip it around or have a framer do it for you if your not so inclined. Professionally framed in gold tone metal frame under glass. Measures 36in x 27in overall. Condition: Print has a couple of good sized tears along the right edge in the middle as shown in photos. Additionally a couple minor tears/paper losses mostly in the margin. These defects blend in with the design fairly well and are not all that noticeable. Shipping cost can be dramatically reduced if you don't need the frame and glass. I can roll in a tube and ship for $24.
