Michelle Michaux (French, b. 1927) “Veronica with the Face of Christ”, circa 1970, charcoal drawing on paper depicting a surrealist Veronica holding the veil she used to wipe the blood from Jesus’s face and which now bears a large open eye. Signed top left corner. Framed in wood and plastic laminate frame, matted under glass. Measures 52in x 40in framed and 36in x 25in image only. Condition: Image in excellent condition, frame has chips, rubs and scratches mostly on sides.
