1940’s Painting Urban Industrial Rail Yard Man Walking Chicago Artist Valasek
Great colorful gouache painting circa 1930's by Chicago artist Karel Valasek. Depicts a man walking home alongside a railyard. No visible signature but the 90 year old woman I bought this from was a friend of Mr. Valasek's and this was a gift to her from him. Measures 23.5in x 21.5in framed and matted under glass, measures 13.5in x 11in image only. Excellent vintage condition with a few nicks and scratches to the frame.
