Charming Art Nouveau American Satsuma covered jar in the style of the Chicago Atlan Ceramic Arts Club. All hand painted in raised enamel with an Art Nouveau design of Stylized flowers. Signed on base Ledwich. Circa 1910. Measures about 5.5n diameter by 2.5in height. Condition: Small tight hairline crack along edge of rim noticeable under scrutiny. Overall light crazing to the clear glaze which is nearly always present on these old satsuma pieces. Otherwise excellent and shows well.
