Susan Leopold Camera Obscura Architectural Motorized Sculpture Staircase

Susan Leopold (American, b. 1960) Untitled, 1992, Multi-media sculpture, wood, electric motor, lenses etc. Signed and dated underside. Sculpture, when plugged in, illuminates and the spiral staircase rotates. Each lens has a different perspective and makes for an experience of wonder and curiosity. Measures 20.5in height x 13in x 13in. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Note: I will need to stabilize the rotating staircase for shipment and you will need to do a minor re-assembly upon arrival. Basically 4 screws and remove some packing materials from the interior.
Bio: Masters Degree from the Interactive Telecommunication Program in the Tisch School of Arts, New York University, and a BFA from The School of Visual Arts, New York City.
