Portrait of Mrs. Jacob D. Bosler - maiden name Anna Dorthea Herman (1805-1865) attributed to Ira Condit Denise (Ohio, b. 1840). Oil on canvas framed in wood frame. Measures 31in x 26in framed and 26.5in x 21.5in sight. Notes on verso of canvas identify the sitter and artist. Condition: Old repairs with inpainting to background area and black dress area as well as a repaired tear at bottom, professionally relined so the foundation of this antique painting is structurally sound.
