Porcelain ginger jar vase, marked and artist initials on bottom, created in the most famous Delft factory in Holland, it is their most expensive design (requiring three stages of firing) inspired by the Japanese "Imari" Porcelain. Polychrome floral designs with the traditional red, blue and gold colors. Imari Pijnacker Delft is not in production anymore. Pijnacker line is the most collectible Porceleyne Fles line with decorations in red, blue and gold colors, also called Delft Imari or Delft Doré. Adriaan Pijnacker copied the 17th century Japanese Imari in the 18th century and Delft Imari was born. This lidded jar/vase measures 15in height to top of finial, and about 7in in diameter at widest. Condition: Excellent condition.
