*Beautiful Neoclassical Blonde Mahogany Vitrine Cabinet having dentil molding and flame mahogany cornice above cabinet with glass panel door with metal grate. Door is flanked by fluted pilasters terminating in Acanthus leaf carvings. Door opens to fixed shelving within. Below the top cabinet is a drinks or writing slide-out shelf beneath which is a large cabinet with a marquetry inlaid door with oval motif. The door opens to a fixed shelf within. The lower cabinet has canted corners with fluted pilasters and inset rosettes at top. Circa 1940’s. Unmarked but very good quality with all solid wood construction. Measures 69 inches height by 27 inches width 14 inches depth overall.
