Giuseppe Giardiello (Italy, 1877 - 1920) Oil on canvas, circa early 20th century, depicts an interior scene with musician and young ladies singing while a chicken scratches on the foreground. Signed lower left. Framed in gilt wood frame. Measures 35.5in x 28in framed and 30.75in x 22.5in image only. Condition: faint shadow of stretcher bars are visible on the front side, thin edge of linen matting is soiled. Period frame has minor loss of gilding.
